2014
Walt Disney World College Internship
In 2014 I was selected to take part in the Walt Disney World College Program. An internship program that allowed me to live and work in Orlando, FL.
​
My role was to contribute to the overall magic and guest experience by providing technical support to guests in the Park as they adjusted to the (then) new app system for managing FastPass reservations.
​
This experience introduced me to the importance of training before, during, and after the launch of new systems, and how to approach every challenge with a learner-focused mindset.
2015 - 2021
Early Childhood Educator
After completing my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Development and Childcare Administration and Leadership, I spent several years working as a classroom teacher, and assistant director across several ECE centers.

During this time I honed my skills in curriculum development, classroom management, and proper observation, documentation, and evaluation of learners.
​
This role taught me the value of flexibility and being able to adapt to the individual needs of learners, as well as the vital role creativity plays in the development of new content, strategies, or materials.

2021 - 2023
Training Content Manager
After completing my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, and Online Instructional Design I switched gears and began working as a Sales Training Specialist, before growing into the role of Training Content Manager at StraumannGroup.
​
This role utilized a blend of my skills by requiring the end-to-end development of online training courses, job aid deliverables, and classroom teaching and support.
​
I refined my working knowledge of Adult Learning Theories and the ADDIE process as I tackled unique training challenges and a fast paced work environment.
2024
Instructional Design Contractor
This year my career has progressed through Instructional Design short-term contract work. Through these experience I have provided needs analysis, content development, and LMS (Learning Management System) support via set-up, user registration, and follow-up tracking for required training courses.
